Accounting Manager |
{ Gwen Granet }
Taking the lead position of Accounting Manager in November 2007, Gwen’s talents in the accounting field haven’t gone unnoticed. Her quiet, intuitive way of getting the job done has enabled her to assess the needs of the company. “By implementing time allotments for billing submission by our CSRs and reorganizing some of the work processes, I was able to change billing procedures so that the end of the month isn’t so hectic,” stated Gwen. As well, per her recommendations, the company changed from a “C” Corp to an “S” Corp, “The change eliminated double taxation which benefits the company greatly,” smiled Gwen.
Gwen graduated from Florida State with a BA in Accounting in 1999. Always motivated to do more, while working in the public accounting field, she completed her CPA certification in 2003. When asked why she switched from public accounting and the potential of owning her own accounting firm some day, she simply stated, “I like to keep things simple, after working in the hectic public accounting field for years the stress began to wear on me. I saw that American Reprographics had an accounting position available and after doing a little research, I knew the company and the job was right for me. I wanted to work for someone where my skills could really help make a difference.” |
